How CGPA is Calculated
CGPA Formula: CGPA = Σ (Credit × Grade Point) ÷ Σ Credit
Enter each subject's credit hours and grade (letter grade, percentage, or direct GPA), then the calculator automatically computes your semester GPA and cumulative CGPA using the weighted average formula.
Example Calculation:
- Mathematics: 3 credits × 4.00 GPA = 12.00 grade points
- Physics: 3 credits × 3.75 GPA = 11.25 grade points
- Chemistry: 3 credits × 3.50 GPA = 10.50 grade points
- Total: 9 credits, 33.75 grade points
- CGPA: 33.75 ÷ 9 = 3.75
